Yesterday was the last day of school for our local Elementary School, Vera Scott. It was a total blast: we went roller skating, that last party of the year 9-11am, ate hot dogs and the kids had a great time playing outside drawing with sidewalk chalk and blowing bubbles they got from their teachers.
The highlight was the end of school when everyone got out, was that I blew bubbles for everyone as they left. It was my farewell gift for the summer. I wanted to share my love for bubbles and the awesome masses of bubbles for them to chase.
It was so much fun. I’m so thankful to be a part of this last year’s reading program and book fair. Thank you to all the teachers and parents, and especially to my friends, the students at Vera Scott Elementary School.
